Community Empowerment Global Health Initiative ( Art For Health ), an affiliate of the Rush Global Health Program, Chicago, IL
Art for Health was started by a group of artists and medical doctors committed to providing and improving health care for underserved communities. As artists, we support the work by traveling with the medical teams to the partner communities, both in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Each artist contributes their creativity and artwork to an annual event called “Art for Health.”

The Catwalk Institute is a private operating foundation that manages the activities of the Catwalk Art Residency and Catslair for longer-term residencies focused on aspects of the landscape. The mission of the CATWALK Institute is to establish a unique retreat for art-making, collaborative projects, and scholarly. I manage the website, provide graphic design for individual projects, and consult about distributing public relations materials.

The Orthogenic School is a coeducational residential treatment program for children and adolescents needing support for behavioral or emotional issues. It provides young people, ages five to twenty, a therapeutic and educational environment that recognizes their strengths and needs while challenging them to grow by achieving important developmental and behavioral outcomes. I preside over the art curriculum in the school, including classes in drawing, ceramics, photography, printmaking, painting, literary magazine, and digital imaging.
