Hague Williams is a multifaceted artist, educator, and UX designer with over two decades of experience in visual arts education and creative practice. He currently serves as the Fine Arts Department Chair and Visual Arts Teacher at Landrum High School in South Carolina, where he teaches a range of courses including Dual Credit, Honors, and Advanced Placement Visual Arts. His educational background includes an M.A.T. in K-12 Education from Columbia College, Chicago, an M.F.A. in Printmedia from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and dual B.A. degrees in Fine Arts and Multimedia Arts from UNC Asheville.

Hague’s teaching career spans several institutions and countries, including a decade-long tenure as Lead Visual Arts Teacher at the Sonia Shankman Orthogenic School at the University of Chicago, where he developed and led a comprehensive art curriculum. He also taught as adjunct faculty at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and served as director of study abroad programs in Prague, Vienna, and Berlin. His involvement in global health initiatives includes his ongoing role with Art for Health, an organization supporting healthcare in underserved communities in Haiti and the Dominican Republic through the arts.

As an artist, Hague’s work has been exhibited internationally, with solo exhibitions at venues like the Goethe Institut in Germany and the Artists Collective in Spartanburg, SC. He has participated in group exhibitions at prestigious galleries and institutions including the Tweed Museum of Art, the Stedelijk Museum De Lakenhal in the Netherlands, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. His practice blends printmaking, new media, and digital design, often addressing themes of transformation, power, and identity.

In addition to his artistic and educational endeavors, Hague has extensive experience in web management and media consulting for the Catwalk Institute, a private foundation supporting artist residencies. He has been recognized for his contributions to art education, receiving multiple awards, including the Secondary Teacher of the Year from the South Carolina Art Education Association. His professional expertise also extends to UX design, with certification in Adobe Creative Suite and Google UX Design.
